We’re happy to welcome a new senior jurisdictional inspector to the west region: Mike Scott.
Beginning his career in 1977 as a boiler technician on a U.S. Navy Destroyer, Mike later worked as an operator in a coal-fired power plant in Colorado. Moving to Washington state, he worked various state jobs – including being an inspector for the state of Washington – until retiring after 30 years of public service at the end of 2021.
Mike is eager to expand his knowledge of the insurance side of boiler and pressure vessel inspections as he begins his role at BPC.
When not inspecting, Mike spends his time with his family – his wife of 43 years, his son, his daughter, and two dogs, Sam and Jack – and fishing and working on his 1965 Ford F-100 4×4.
Welcome to the team, Mike; we’re glad to have you!
