Our team is composed of a number of talented and hardworking individuals – which makes choosing one for an award each month no easy task. In September, the honor of the President’s Award went to… Dan Powell!

Dan, a jurisdictional inspector, has been with BPC since January of 2021. And in that time, he’s found he especially likes the change of scenery that comes with his position.

“I enjoy getting to see new and interesting locations in my work, as well as helping to ensure people’s safety. I also appreciate the freedom that comes with making my own schedule and working remotely,” Dan said.

Regarding his receiving the award, Dan said, “My first reaction was surprise; I didn’t even know I was up for the award!

“I’d like to thank all the folks at BPC – from my direct supervisor Del Schirmer to the home office staff and management. We have a great team and work environment here. I’m grateful for the opportunities through this new career and look forward to continuing on with BPC.”
